OBJECTIVE

A program run by the Government of India in the service of nation with a mission to imbibe leadership quality and encourage the students for the cause of Nation Building. The program has high vision to train the minds of young men and women capable of facing the challenges in life as well as of moulding character, inculcates discipline and spirit of unity.

COMPOSITION

Dr. Manish C. Tudu is the co-ordinators of NSS in the college.

ACTIVITIES

• NSS students of R.L.S.Y. College have been actively involved in humanitarian service.
• The Ranchi University, Ranchi aids for these programs and no fee is collected for the same from students.

ELIGIBILITY

Students from B.A./B.Sc/B.Com streams of R.L.S.Y. College during the course in any year may join NSS. However their selection depends upon seat available and selection criterion stipulated by NSS Program Officer.

CERTIFICATE

‘Regular Activity Certificate’ for 3 years regular activities and ‘Special Camp Activity Certificate’ for outside camp & services is awarded by Ranchi University, Ranchi.

A student awarded with ‘Special Camp Activity Certificate’ is given 5% weightage at the time of admission in higher education in Ranchi University, Ranchi.
