The students of the R. L. S. Y. College have participated and won prizes at various district-level, state-level and national-level sports programmes and competitions. Jharkhand has been a leader in producing talented sportswomen and sportsmen, and the college is committed towards honing and nurturing the talents of the students.

Games and Sports Committee

To nurture and promote a spirit of sportsmanship and talent among the students, the college has a games and sport committee. The committee is in-charge the sports equipment and infrastructure in the college. It also encourages the students to develop a healthy competitive spirit by organizing different tournaments from time to time.

Cultural Activities

Jharkhand has a rich heritage of tribal culture. At the same time, the culture and tradition of the state also showcases a rich amalgamation of tribal and non-tribal cultures. To bring out the cultural talents of the students the college has a cultural committee. It trains its students for Inter/Intra College/University/ State/National Youth Festival every year. The committee also encourages and promotes the students to participate in extra-curricular activities organized from time to time in the college.
